Summer Challenge - Have a Sun-Sational Day!

Hi everyone!! PINQUETTE Robin here and I am so glad you dropped by :)

The theme for the challenge this go around is "Summer" Super easy and simple :)

I decided to do a card with Mickey and add one of the
awesome embellishments Jessica has at the Pinque Peacock Store.

Now this is my kind of "Summer" sitting around at the beach with your
sunglasses on and not a care in the world... hehe.

♥ ♥ ♥

While making this card I decided to make it a folded card ( now I can't quite remember what this kind of card is called...I'm sure I will remember it after my post goes live lol )

The cute little "sun" that is on there is actually a burlap flower that I got from Jessica in my DT goodies. It started out as a light beige color, but since the sun is yellow. I decided to change it up a bit.  I used my Spectrum Noir markers. Which you can get at the store also :)

Have a great day and don't forget to enter your Summer themed project. You could have a chance to win a Gift Certificate to get some of your own goodies from the shop!
(:(: Smiles :):)

Summer Shallenge... Have a Heart!!

Hello, PINQUETTE Rebecca here...
Today I am posting a card that was truly inspired by carnival cotton candy! Around here during the summer, the weekends are filled with cultural festivals....Italian, Greek, Polish..and the list goes on.

One thing that shows up at every festival are funnel cakes...and...

Cotton Candy.

So, of course, I'd be inspired with soft, light, fluffy colors.

And thus, my card!

I realize you might think that this card is a bit of a stretch...and I'll agree. But for what it's worth...I'm typing this post with sticky fingers...and you guessed it.

They are sticky because I just finished some lucious pink cotton candy!
In case you haven't heard, you can enter your
interpretation of SUMMER over on our challenge blog!!!

And you just might win yourself some awesome blog candy!

Have a great, fun filled, summer good day!

Summer Challenge - Wedding Wreath!

PINQUETTE Laura here...
Today I am challenging you to show us your projects.
The theme for July is Summer.

I made a wedding wreath.
When I think of Summer I think of weddings.
The theme for quite a few weddings this year seems to be country.
So this wreath was perfect for this.

I started off with a burlap splendid swirl. (I love these)

The two burlap flowers with the words on it I made (Lori made one)
and the two white burlap flowers I made also.
The wreath is from a thrift store.
I also added some lace from my stash and some tulle.
I wrapped twine around the right side.

Hope you enjoyed my wreath
and I hope the Bride and Groom love it too!!!
To see more pics check out my blog...
